Kokatat will be providing much of my paddling clothing, as well as a PFD and new footwear. On personal trips and in my professional life, I have found anything with a Kokatat label to be of the highest durability and utility.

Specifically, they will be providing a ProFIT Tour rescue PFD, GORE-TEX Rogue Dry Top & GORE-TEX Deluxe Boat Pant, as well as a pair of heavy-weight gloves and a variety of therm layers and wind pants. Also, they've been kind enough to let me try a pair of the new mukluk-style neoprene boots, called the Nomad.

I'll keep folks up to date on how this gear performs on the expedition via the blog, but if it is anything like the Kokatat products that I have used in the past all you'll hear is me gushing about it not leaking, not ripping, and generally keeping me warm, dry, and looking good.

Delorme

Delorme will be providing the majority of my maps for the expedition. With 6000 miles to cover, maps could be a major cost and weight issue, but with Delorme Gazeteers for each state and Delorme's TOPO USA computer program, I'll be able to make a happy comprimise between weight and detail.
